Strawberry Balsamic Salad

There’s a good chance that if you are reading this on Memorial Day, you are in desperate need of a last-minute idea for a party. If you are attending a party, it’s usually great to be the one who volunteers to make a salad. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills without having to expend too much effort.

Even better, it can be thrown together at the last minute. All you need to put this one together is about an hour and seven ingredients.

What you’ll need:
4 oz baby arugula
4 oz baby bibb lettuce
6 strawberries, sliced
1 baby cucumber, sliced
4-5 endive leaves, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Coat the strawberries in balsamic vinegar and let marinate for an hour.

Then, plate the lettuce and top with the cucumber slices, walnuts, and chopped endive. Spoon the strawberries over the lettuce to serve. Add any of the leftover balsamic vinegar from the strawberries to taste.
