Teriyaki Salmon + Mango Salad

Memorial Day Weekend is fast approaching, which means if you are throwing a party or just attending one then it’s time to consider what dishes to prepare. Of course, most holiday barbecues consist of burgers, hot dogs, and macaroni salad, but what do we do for those who would prefer not to splurge on the holidays?

Make barbecued teriyaki salmon salad with celery and mango, of course. This dish is light, sweet, and summery. Not to mention, it’s pretty damn easy to throw together when you’re also manning the drinks station and barbecuing hot dogs.

What you’ll need:
1 lb Alaskan salmon steak
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup mango, chopped
1 tsp teriyaki sauce
1/2 tsp clover honey
1/2 tsp soy sauce

Directions:
Lightly coat the salmon in the teriyaki sauce. Then, grill the fish.

When the fish is finished cooking, let it cool before chopping it up in a large bowl. Add the celery, mango, soy sauce, and honey to the salmon.

Stir to combine and serve.
