Halibut is amongst the best fish to eat in the springtime because it’s easy to grill and it’s also high in protein, but low in fat. Halibut is a much meatier fish than something like tilapia and it pairs well with simple refreshing ingredients like basil and citrus.
What you’ll need:
1 1/2 lbs halibut filet
1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tsp basil, dried
1 tsp garlic, minced
Combine the juice, olive oil, basil, and garlic in a small bottle. Shake well and let stand for 1-2 hours.
Then, place the fish on tin foil on the grill and brush the fish with the sauce. Grill until the fish is cooked through before garnishing with any remaining sauce to serve.
