It’s winter. Grilled cheese is warm. Apples and walnuts are filling and delicious. Why not throw it all together on one big sandwich and call it a day? Seriously, after eating one of these you might not need to eat anything for the rest of the day. It’s sweet, savory, a little bit spicy and tangy all at the same time, and it is packed with protein. Have at it; you’ll still be able to fit into your New Year’s Eve outfit tomorrow.

What you’ll need:
2 slices panella bread
1/4 lb turkey, sliced
2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 pink lady or granny smith apple, sliced thin
2 oz baby arugula
1/8 cup walnuts, crushed
1 tbsp hot mango chutney
Light butter

Put the sandwich together by layering the turkey, cheese, apples, arugula, walnuts, and chutney. Close the sandwich and spread butter on the outsides of the bread.

Heat some butter in a small skillet. When the butter is hot, fry the sandwich on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Let the sandwich cool for a minute, slice in half, and serve.
