I’m a creature of habit, yet I’m also somebody who craves adventure and variation–sure, that’s a major contradiction, but hey, I’m a complex lady.

This means that when it comes to food, my diet is a funny mix of absolutely new, strange, things, and old staples that I just keep coming back to.

One of the standards that I could eat just about every day and never get sick of is Thai food. In high school, I worked at a Thai restaurant, and with my free meals and continual leftovers, I was eating Thai food about four days a week.

Amazingly, I never got sick of it.

This is partially due to the fact that the range of deliciousness offered in Thai cuisine: You’ve got your noodles, your stir fries, your curries, and your fresh veggies that are always crunchy and full of flavor. It’s also almost never bad–even the most mediocre Thai places tend to have something that is pretty edible.

What’s your ultimate comfort food? The thing that you could eat every day and never get sick of it? Luckily, I have the luxury of varying the types of food that I consume…but if I didn’t, I think could survive on Pad Se Ew forever.
