Gin Tangelo Soda

Today is one of the final editions of winter Thirsty Thursday here on Dish + Drink. Spring is just a few short weeks away and it seems the better weather is trying to break through. Tangelos are still in full force at the grocery stores, so this cocktail is a perfect way to reel in spring with a lighter flavor and utilize the late winter citrus fruit.

What you’ll need:
2 oz dry gin
3 oz fresh squeezed tangelo juice
2 oz club soda
1 oz tonic water
1 tangelo wedge

Combine the ingredients in a shaker and strain into a highball glass. Garnish with the tangelo wedge before serving.
