If you’re looking for a meatier fish recipe that will hold up on the grill, look no further. Tuna is your answer, folks! Bloody and thick like a steak, but just a bit lighter and healthier, this is the perfect meal for a summer night.
What You’ll Need:
Tuna steaks (one for each person you’re feeding)
Red pepper flakes
Fifteen minutes prior to cooking, marinate your tuna steaks in equal parts Soy Sauce and Sesame Oil.
Use a metal bowl (to avoid transfer of the fishy flavor) and make sure that the fish is completely submerged.
Peel and grate two cloves of garlic, and approximately two tablespoons ginger.
Add to marinade.
Add one teaspoon red pepper flakes.
Let sit for about fifteen minutes, until flavors have been absorbed (you can allow to marinate for longer in the refrigerator if you prefer.)
Heat your grill (or pan) on medium-high, place fish over heat.
Cook on both sides for about two minutes, so that the interior remains rare! Remove from heat.
Finely chop scallions and sprinkle on top.
Serve, and enjoy!
