In the summertime, my mom goes out to her garden and picks a bounty of veggies. One of her go-to dishes is this super simple summer veggie side that highlights fresh ingredients. It takes no more than ten minutes, and it’ll add a ton of vibrant, fresh, flavor to your meal!
What You’ll Need:
Zucchini and Summer Squash
Salt and Pepper
Heat olive oil in a cast-iron on medium high heat.
Slice Zucchini and summer squash. Slice garlic into thin pieces.
Add both to pan. Let the zucchini sit so that it gets crispy all around!
Get a bunch of basil and rough chop.
Add to pan.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat, serve, and enjoy!
