To snack or not to snack? That is a dumb question you should never ask yourself because obviously the answer is to always, always snack.

If you were on the internet around the summer of 2012, you may of come across an absolute gem of a song, in which a bunch of super adorable and talented kids rap about their favorite snacks, Hot Cheetos & Takis. I’ve often felt compelled by the pure deliciosity of my favorite snacks to write songs of a similar ilk. However, the subject matter would be a little different. Here are my top three snacks to sing about.

1. Apples with Peanut Butter and Honey: There was a time in college where I was eating this snack every single evening. We were going through jars of peanut butter like they were going out of style. It then become clear that I was the only person eating the peanut butter, and I was eating a full jar weekly own my own. I then had to take a step back and cut down my PB intake a bit.

2. Cheese and Crackers with Dry Sausage: This is a classic snack, it just never gets old. Give me a salami seco, some Carr’s water crackers, and a nice Vermont cheese and I’m on could nine.

3. Last but not least, Good Ol’ Potato Chips: No matter how many high falutin, foodie foods there are, there’s almost nothing better than a bag of Kettle chips. Crunchy, salty…perfect. My favorite? Kettle Chips, Spicy Thai flavor.
