Today’s podcast is about the power of super. We live in a world filled with extraordinary and remarkable feats of the imagination, which keep us inspired and constantly pushing to reach a little farther out.
We’ll talk with Blaire van Valkenburgh, a paleontologist who is here to talk with us about ancient beasts called hyper-carnivores, such as the saber-tooth tiger and dire wolf, that used their super strengths to regulate herbivores.
We’ll also chat with Allen Gibbs, a professor of Life Sciences at the University of Nevada who has been conducting an unusual series of studies on obese fruit flies.
But first watch our video where we take our questions to the streets of NYC!
