Positivity means looking to the bright side of things, even in the shadows of darkness there is always hope. It’s our responsibility to remember that nothing is out of reach, and that no negativity exists without its necessary counterbalance.
This week is positivity week here at BTR Today. With the help of our guests, we take a look at how to combat the negative news cycle and try to find hope for change in the disastrous Dupont chemical company pollution scandal.
We’ll talk with esteemed journalist and positive psychology researcher Michelle Gielan about what it takes to spin positive news despite the media’s constant onslaught of fear and despair.
For our Third Eye perspective into the question this week we’ll wrap it up by talking with Nathaniel Rich, a contributing writer at the New York Times Magazine who is speaks with us about his extensive piece about the decade long pollution by the Dupont chemical company.
Be sure to also check out our video when we take our questions to the streets!
Also watch our Third Eye Video for a point-counterpoint on the issues.
