Today’s podcast is about POP. Popular culture, pop goes the weasel, popcorn, zits, and soda pop (if you speak like my grandparents). Here at BTR, we’re just about ready to burst.
We’re going to take a look at POP in its many forms, from philosophy circles that are poppin’ off in Brooklyn that seek to share seemingly esoteric ideas with the populous, and the popularity of the Maker Faire, which brought together innovations in tech and science with the general public.
Lastly, for our Third Eye perspective into the question this week we’ll wrap it up by talking with Matthias Ruth, who will talk with us about the controversial NASA-funded study about how our civilization is ready to POP! if we don’t get our collective act together.
Be sure to watch our video when we take our question of the week out to the streets!
Also you can watch our us we take to the Maker Faire 2015 in Flushing, Queens!
