It’s Help Week on BTR!

On today’s Third Eye Weekly, we take a special look at a new coalition of workers from across agriculture and food service industries working to increase healthy, sustainable, and just practices in getting meals from the farm to your plate. Diana Robinson of the Food Chain Workers Alliance joins us for more.

You can check out their trailer for Behind The Kitchen Door here:

And later, award-winning ProPublica writer Abrahm Lustgarten joins us to talk about a serious threat to America’s drinking water.

Today’s spoken word segments feature the talents of Dr. John along with filmmakers Jason Stefaniak and Siobhan O’Loughlin.

You can check out their film, “This is My Body” below:

If you’d like to submit a poem to be featured on the air, please send us an mp3 and the text of the poem to thirdeyeweekly dot gmail dot com. Just keep sound quality and next week’s theme (Word Week!) in mind.
