Today’s podcast is about happiness. It’s something that we all strive for in life, some people take it for granted, while others can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Today’s question: We all toss it around casually in conversation, but what exactly is happiness, and how do we find it?
We’ll talk with Peter Stearns, a professor at George Mason University who is here to talk about the history of happiness with us.
We’ll also chat with Lara Aknin, professor of psychology at Simon Fraser University whose research focuses on generosity, money and happiness.
Lastly, for our Third Eye perspective into the question this week we’ll wrap it up by talking with Sonja Lyubomirsky, professor of psychology at the University of California. She’ll share with us her studies into what scientifically determines happiness for individuals studied across the world.
Check out our interview with Lara Aknin!
