This week we’re kicking off the episode with a preview of the upcoming SAVAK album, Rotting Teeth In The Horse’s Mouth, out April 10th from Ernest Jenning Record Company, complete with a conversation with one of the band’s two primary songwriters, Michael “Jaws” Jaworski. We talk about the band’s process in writing and recording, cover practice spaces in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, and address the uncertainty of releasing music in the midst of the current global health crisis. Later in the show, we check out new music from Citris, Blue Canopy, The Memories, Ada Lea, Dirty Projectors, Ellis, and Waxahatchee, plus a new Shannen Moser track from the Lame-O Records “Compilation For Isolation” – Don’t Stand So Close To Me.
