Bill Callahan is back with his 18th studio album (including his releases as Smog), Gold Record, available now via Drag City. I’ll play a reworked track from his 1999 release as Smog, Knock Knock. Fun Fact: The first time I heard Callahan’s music was in 2000 while watching High Fidelity. The song, “Cold Blooded Old Times”, was feature in the flick. Plus, more new tracks by Soundwalk Collective with Patti Smith, L.A. Witch, The Front Bottoms, Bebel Gilberto, and more!
It’s the last week of the election and the pandemic is getting worse. Plus music from Vanessa Silberman and Pine Barons. | listen
