Today on the Daily Beat, Tuesday February 9, 2016: Part 2 with Gretchen Reynolds has been writing about health and fitness for more than a decade, beginning with a stint as a health and fitness reporter for Runner’s World and Bicycling magazines. After several years covering politics and crime for Chicago magazine, she began editing and writing about adventure, eco-politics and fitness for Outside magazine. She shared a National Magazine Award for personal service for a package of stories that appeared in National Geographic Adventure magazine.
