Today: Tuesday April 7, 2015 – This week’s podcast reviews the New York rally that took place at 26 Federal Plaza in NYC on April 2, 2015. This event is one of 55 being held across the country calling for an Executive Order to shine light on corruption.
April 2 marks the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s McCutcheon v FEC ruling, which further flooded the election system by not eliminating the ability for committees to aggregate funding into giant fundraising committees for candidates.
Today you will hear from Darius Gordon, community organizer of Citizen Action of NY and Jonathan Reis from Big Apple Coffee Party.
