Today: Monday April 27, 2015 – Thanks to Columbia Law School’s Center for the Advancement of Public Integrity, a Global Cities conference was help on joining forces against corruption. It was gathering from April 23 – 25, 2015, where officials from New York City to Nairobi to Mexico City could come together to discuss the strategies and actions taken to prosecute corrupt municipal and even corporate leaders in their city.
Today, tune in to hear Carlo Nordio, Assistant District Attorney of Venice, Ministry of Justice, Italy, talk about his work in leading investigations since the 1980s. He warns us about over-regulating, or placing too many legislation in which politicians use as instruments to further corruption.
