Due to the mayor’s ten year plan to preserve and build 200,000 affordable housing units, over 11 vital gardens are at risk of being destroyed. People feel they are being split in the decision to choose shelter or nourishing food. The Daily Beat covers the Feb. 10th protest at the steps of City Hall to keep community gardens alive.
