Today: Monday, February 9, 2015 – The Daily Beat investigates civic data hacking and how anyone can be a hacker helping to create more transparency in our government. The New York Public Library hosted an event by Hack Hackers called the Civic Data Hackathon on Feb. 7, 2015. The event brought developers, designers, programmers, and even journalists together to help convert the city’s public records and websites into user-friendly sites for the modern world.
