Sandal season is coming!! Are you ready? Fortunately, this week’s guest has a stylish, sustainable solutions for warm weather – Evan Streusand is the founder behind Fortress of Inca, a line of ethically-made, fashion-forward footwear for men and women. The brand is known for handcrafted shoes made from natural materials, and their designs can be found in boutiques and retails stores all over the country. On today’s show, Evan will talk about the travels in Peru that led him to launch Fortress of Inca, some of the lessons he’s learned through starting his own label, the brand’s commitment to natural materials, their brand new store front, and more.
Plus, I’ve got a playlist filled with great new music, including more off “Carrie and Lowell” from Sufjan Stevens, a track off the latest from AZ singer-songwriter decker., and two powerhouse electropop tracks from French artist Madjo and Australia’s Chela. So join me for a look at just how fashionable fair trade can truly be, with Sew & Tell on BTR!
