Do you love beautifully crafted menswear and accessories? What about amazing pop-up shops? What about… BOTH OF THEM TOGETHER?? For this week’s Sew & Tell, I got to chat with fellow Minnesota native Mac McMillan. Mac and his wife Katherine are the dynamic duo (with an knack for gorgeous design) behind Pierrepont Hicks, a line of quality, classic-but-contemporary men’s and women’s wear. After a little time spent perfecting the wool tie, Mac and Katherine expanded Pierrepont Hicks to include footwear, outerwear, and travel accessories, all expertly crafted here in the US. Soon, they discovered other likeminded labels and started Northern Grade – a collaborative, national pop-up shop dedicated to American Made.
On today’s show, you’ll hear from Mac about the start of Pierrepont Hicks, some of the biggest challenges he and Katherine have faced as PH has grown, their dedication to American Made, the evolution of Northern Grade, their upcoming collaboration with GQ, and more!
Plus, a playlist full of great music from artists like Diane Coffee, Dent May, Woods, and Superchunk. So tune in & be part of this stylish cooperative here on BreakThru Radio!
