On last week’s show, I introduced Sew & Tell’s new addition: fashion correspondent and resident menswear authority Dane Feldman. I wanted our listeners to get to know Dane better, so on today’s show, you’ll have an opportunity to do just that. Dane is a recent graduate of University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he studied Communications and wrote a lifestyle column for the school’s paper, The Daily Collegian. With a fascination for vintage style and an eye for good taste, Dane has crafted a well-curated style for himself that reflects classic sensibilities and formal silhouettes. On today’s show, Dane will talk about the widespread impact of AMC’s “Mad Men” on fashion, the overlooked style demographic of college men, and he’ll share a few of his favorite stores, celebrity fashion icons, and wardrobe essentials.

Plus, I have a great playlist full of brand new releases from BTR favorites Helado Negro, Suuns, Shout Out Louds, and Robyn Hitchcock, along with tracks from Bon Iver and Dead Man’s Bones. Friday has never looked better on BTR!

Stylish Odds & Ends…
*Here’s a great blow-by-blow style analysis of Mad Men’s Season 5 premier from Tom & Lorenzo. Be sure to check back in early April for their take on Season 6!
*If you’ve never shopped them before, try Everlane and Uniqlo for well-priced classics.
*Two interesting budget menswear blogs I found in my internet wanderings: Broke and Bespoke, and Thrifty Gent.
*A spring brunch outfit I wish I owned, via Polyvore! Send me your picks for spring – what are you looking forward to wearing?
