Spring is approaching fast, and we all know what’s just around the corner: swimsuit weather! If you think it’s too early to start prepping your beach bod, think again – it’s never the wrong time to hit the gym! And thanks to this week’s Sew & Tell guest, you don’t have to sacrifice style OR comfort when you do.
Dari and her sister Pamela Passarello are long-time passionate runners who happened upon the perfect solution to an age-old problem: how to find a comfortable headband. After fruitless searching, Dari finally made her own, and suddenly found that everyone else wanted one, too! Sparkly Soul Headbands were born, and they now offer a variety of styles and colors, so you can transition easily from workout to work to play and look effortlessly fabulous the whole time. On today’s show, Dari will talk about how Sparkly Soul began, some of the perfect occasions and uses for the headbands, a few new styles in the works, and she even offers some great advice for beginning runners!
Plus, another week of fantastic new releases – you’ll hear tracks from Gainesville’s ASPE, UK’s Veronica Falls, the debut from hardcore rockers The Virginmarys, Miracles of Modern Science, a special Jamie Lidell Valentine’s single, and more. So tune in, turn it up, and get inspired – spring is just around the corner here on Sew & Tell!

*You MUST see Jenny Packham’s breathtaking Fall 2013 collection!!
*Phillip Lim and Donna Karan are among the many other designers who brought some amazing things to the runway; Fashionista also loved MK & Ashley Olson’s new collection, but I was kind of bored… what do you think?
*Michael Kors and Yohji Yamamoto put a new spin on sportswear chic for F/W 2013
*One of my faves, Suzanne Rae, took her design cues from nuns (!), while another eco-starlet, Samantha Pleet, was inspired by the Post-Impressionists
*And John Galliano managed to be an offensive and inflammatory idiot… again.
