Some of the funniest writers in New York are getting together to let you know about the nights of their lives – those nights that stand out a cut above the rest, that left behind stories so full of hilarity and wonder that they’re worth sharing.

This performance was recorded on January 25, 2012 at the UCB Theater in NYC.

Hosted by David Martin.

Theme: “Body Issues”.

February is the 6 year anniversary of Nights of Our Lives, and the theme is Greatest Hits Vol. 6. That show will be live at UCB on Wednesday, February 29th at 9:30 PM.

David Martin
David Martin began studying at the UCB in the fall of 2001. He has performed in numerous shows including The Documentary, Anydayville, Chastity Cove, Instant Cinema, as well as Police Chief Rumble’s sketch show Piece of Bullsh*t P*e. He has been a member of Police Chief Rumble, Trillion, Grenade vs. Washing Machine, and he currently can be seen performing with Arsenal. He recently had a book published by Simon and Schuster entitled Officespeak, a comedic look at office culture. It might just be the funniest book ever written.

Antony Atamanuik
Anthony Atamanuik has been writing, performing, and producing comedy for over ten years.

In 1997 he moved to Los Angeles after graduating with a BS in Film Theory from Emerson College. While living in LA Anthony worked for Jim Henson Interactive, Mr. Show, and sadly, Suzanne Somers. He moved to New York in 2000 and started training and performing at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in 2002.

Anthony improvised films on stage with the group Instant Cinema for over two years, and performed on the Harold Teams Trillion, Grenade vs. Washing Machine and Creep. Anthony has also appeared in Kromf’s 4th of July Show as King George, Up Late with Lord Voldemort as Professor Snape and in the 420 Show as Adolf Hitler.

Along with fellow Death By Roo Roo cast mate, Neil Casey, Anthony co-wrote and starred in the short lived Channel 102 series The Incredible Drunk. Anthony has also appeared in the Channel 102 series Cat News, My Wife the Ghost, and Gemberling. He has also appeared on The Caroline Ray Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brian, and Munchies.
Anthony is currently a member of the UCB House Team, Death By Roo Roo, and is also a regular monologist at the extremely popular monthly UCB storytelling show, Nights of Our Lives.

He can also be seen on the online in new episodes of Debate Porridge and is a regular video contributor to the Huffington Post. Finally, Anthony can be seen on NBC’s 30 Rock, playing a very expressive staff writer.

John Flynn
John Flynn is an actor and writer currently living in New York City.

He is one of the co-creators of the hit show “Showgirls: The Best Movie Ever Made. Ever!” He is also one of the writers of Logo’s NewNowNext Awards, airing in June. John also created, produced, and hosted the internet show “Project Improviser,” a competitive reality show that explored the world of long form improvisation. His one man shows, Themepark Superstar and Dances With Pitchforks: Confessions of a Farm Boy, have been performed in New York at Caroline’s Comedy Club, Joe’s Pub, and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, and in Los Angeles, Boston, and Key West, Florida. He’s a regular contributor to the monthly storytelling show at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, “Nights of Our Lives,” and has been published in The Daily News, Go Metric Magazine, and an upcoming book about Craigslist hook-ups.

Adam Wade
Adam is a record FIFTEEN-time StorySlam Champion at The Moth (“New York’s hottest and hippest literary ticket” by The Wall Street Journal), and a TWO-time GrandSLAM Champion (2006, 2009) . His GrandSLAM Winning Story was featured on The Moth’s Podcast in Jan ’09. Adam has been performing in New York City for the past ten years. His stories are genuine, unique, stupidly funny and just a tad heartfelt. He’s performed at renowned NYC venues such as Caroline’s on Broadway, Comix, the Highline Ballroom and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on shows such as The Moth’s Main Stage, The Nights of Our Lives, The Rejection Show, The Liar Show, Mortified, Stripped Stories, Speakeasy Stories, and True Tales From College (which he is the co-producer and co-host of). He has also served as the warm-up comedian for COMEDY CENTRAL’s Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn, and for CNBC’s John McEnroe Show.

David Martin has performed comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre for many years now -- some might argue too many and he wouldn't disagree with those people. But he also hopes (fervently) to be performing…
