Hey everyone! Welcome back to another episode of The Music Meetup (formerly known as Discovery Corner).
This week we listen to & interview Brooklyn-based duo, the inventors of “surf-gaze,” Surf Rock Is Dead!
Surf Rock Is Dead has not much to do with actual genre of surf rock. They’re more of a hazy trip in a dark forest, than a bright and poppy beach party. Songs include wavy sounds that get you swaying, and lyrics that get your mind wondering. These guys are busy and always playing local shows, so make sure to follow them on all their socials to catch them!
Tune-in and listen to us chat w/ Surf Rock Is Dead about all kinds of stuff, and listen to their oldest and newest tunes! Also, don’t forget to read the written feature on Surf Rock Is Dead!
