LIVE @ OLD SCHOOL STUDIOS with MR JASON – Originally Aired – Saturday 20th August 2011
PUBLICIST – This was a fun one! Recorded on location at Cakeshop in New York, I was hanging out there with my friend Jason (a different Jason, although I was there too..), and Jason (the other one) soundchecked this guy with drums, synths, vocoder and stuff, and it sounded pretty awesome, and he was the sweetest guy. But then when it came his turn to burn, he had a lazer pointer thing, pointed at his white tshirt. And a thick gold chain, circa 1983. And the crowd went wild, even if you can’t tell from my terrible photos. It was pretty impossible to get got photos, partly cos I’m a terrible photographer; partly cos Cakeshop gave me free drinks, and partly cos it was pitch black in the venue, apart from the lazer pointer..
Hey, Whaddaya Say, Let’s Radio!
