LIVE @ OLD SCHOOL STUDIOS with MR JASON – Saturday 7th June 2014

LOOSE LEAF DRIFTERS – Part One – Well, after we’d finished recording last week’s set by Bavarian Rocket Groop, their leader, Shane, hung around to be the audience for this set by Loose Leaf Drifters. It was a lot of fun for everyone involved, as I was mixing it live, which is always fun, and their drummer was Pedz from Feral Mouth, standing in at no notice, and hearing the songs for the first time, with no rehearsal! And what a great job he did! Ben Grizzly and I have been trying to book this session for 8-9 years now, and for one reason or another it always ended up falling through, so we’re pleased that it finally did happen. And now you get to listen to it! Tune in next week for the second half of the set, which has ME, Mr Jason, standing in on drums when Pedz’ taxi arrived. Hey, Whaddaya Say, Let’s Radio!

LOOSE LEAF DRIFTERS members
Ben Grizzly vocals, guitars
Gareth guitar
Laurie bass, vocals, piano
Chad piano, keyboard, vocals, bass

This set was mixed & record live, by Mr Jason @ Old School Studios, Norwich, UK.

Host Mr Jason
When he was seven, Jason started writing songs -- mostly silly stuff, which went hand in hand with the hilarious (in their minds) radio shows that he and his older sister would record on their dad's dictaphone.…
