LIVE @ OLD SCHOOL STUDIOS with MR JASON – Saturday 14th April 2012

CATE FERRIS – Part Two – So I was walking down to The Bicycle Shop in Norwich, which is a really nice cafe, restaraunt, bar, acoustic venue type place, cos I was gonna be recording the gig there that evening, and I needed to chat to the promoter, Ian. Anyway, just in front of me this girl walked in, and she looked familiar. I said “are you Cate?”, and she said “Yeah!”. I’d recognised her from the gig poster. OK, not a GREAT story, but the thing is, we got on really well, and hopefully that made her feel slightly more at-ease than she would’ve done otherwise, what with it being her first ever trip to Norwich. I’m sure her next Norwich gig will be absolutely packed. I know I’ll definitely be there!

This set was performed live, without a hair net (or headphones!), and mixed direct to stereo, the way nature intended, by Mr Jason @ The Bicycle Shop, Norwich, UK. Thanks to Rob from The Bicycle Shop & Ian Hudson from Dreams Promotions for booking Cate, and letting me record the gig.

Host Mr Jason
When he was seven, Jason started writing songs -- mostly silly stuff, which went hand in hand with the hilarious (in their minds) radio shows that he and his older sister would record on their dad's dictaphone.…
