Today’s episode of The Jazz Hole Live with Linus features a live set from New York City’s famous Smalls Jazz Club. The Melissa Aldana Quintet performed there on December 14th 2016. Tenor saxophonist and composer Melissa Aldana was joined by trumpet player Philip Dizack (whose composition “Morning” is part of this set), pianist Glenn Zaleski, bassist Pablo Menares (whose composition “En Otro Lugar” is part of this set) and drummer Kendrick Scott.
