The Jazz Hole with Linus – today with music by Shirantha Beddage, Sofia Ribeiro, Steven Kirby, Sullivan Fortner, Rob Garcia (featuring Joe Lovano and Kate McGarry) and introducing the brilliant sounds of Tetraptych. Their self-titled album Tetraptych just came out on Red Piano Records and it is the brain child of pianist and composer Bert Seager, a leading player on the jazz scene in Boston since 1981. Grounded in the lineage of the modern jazz saxophone quartet, his group features Hery Paz on saxophone, Max Ridley on bass and Dor Herskovits on drums.
