Saxophonist and composer Roxy Coss talks about her new album Restless Idealism on today’s edition of The Jazz Hole with Linus. The Seattle-born NYC-based musician, probably best known for her work with trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, gives further insight into her second album as a bandleader. Plus a swingin’ number by the Gerry Gibbs Thrasher Dream Trio with Kenny Barron and Ron Carter, two tracks by pianist and composer Eiko Rikuhashi, as well as two tracks from saxophonist Jonathan Greenstein’s new EP Vol. I.
