An eclectic mix of music today’s episode of The Jazz Hole, including tracks from the brand new album Different Roots by Rodrigo Faina and Change Ensemble and from the futuristic album Arcade by the Toronto-based Griffith Hiltz Trio. Also from Toronto is vibraphonist Dan McCarthy, who recorded his brand new album “A Place Where We Once Lived” in Brooklyn, NY the day before permanently returning to Toronto. Buenos Aires composer and saxophonist Camila Nebbia’s new EP In another Night, In Another World with pianist, vocalist and composer Maya Keren and bassist Akiva Jacobs. Plus music from a project that was created in two different cities during the pandemic, laptop and electronics artist Ikue Mori in New York along with pianist Satoko Fujii & trumpeter Natsuki Tamura in Kobe, Japan.
