So much new jazz all the time, it’s hard to keep track! The Jazz Hole with Linus circles back a bit this week to make sure that nothing slipped through the cracks. Enjoy music by Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Chelsea McBride and her 2nd big band album Chelsea McBride’s Socialist Night School – Aftermath, plus, also from Canada, more from the Ottawa-based fusion quartet Modasaurus, lead by pianist James McGowan. Additional music today comes from “Yuma” by a unique Basel-based trio consisting of Tian Long Li on chromatic harmonica, Marco Schudel on vibraphone and Dominik Schürmann on bass, as well as from pianist and composer Glenn Zaleski’s latest album The Question.
