Thanks for joining me for the green mountain bluegrass hour. This hour is devoted to the late Doc Watson whose birthday is next Sunday March 3rd,. He passed last May. You’ll notice the playlist is a bit different, I’m offering multiple versions of songs Doc Watson was known for. You’ll hear Watson recordings paired with Tony Rice, Sam Bush, Aubrey Haynie, Bryan Sutton, Hot Rize, Jason Ring and also some live tracks from his 1963 and 1964 Newport Folk Festival performances. Happy Birthday Doc.
