Do we have any horror movie fans out there? I think that horror and New Weird America are two genres that blend excellently. Both take what we think of as normal and manipulate those ideas to make something new. That’s why it’s so appropriate that Animal Collective’s Avey Tare has formed a band called Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks with appropriately creepy music. We play two tracks on the show today, plus more new music! Make sure to stay tuned!
