Yay, you’re back! Welcome to BTRtoday’s Discovery Corner podcast brought to you by, Levi’s.
Meet Dirty Fences.
They capture the essence of garage punk–a real classic in the game! Their catchy melodies, guttural vocals, and meaty guitar riffs take you back to a time when bands like The Ramones and The Clash were at the top of the charts!
Based in NYC, living in Brooklyn, these guys know how to put on a mesmerizing show and provide an all around good time! Comprised of Jack Daves (vocals/guitar), Max Roseglass (guitar), Max Comaskey (bass), and Max Hiersteiner (drums)–they all met in high school while growing up in Boston. Hiersteiner sliced the tip of his finger off in wood shop class and Daves went with him to the hospital, they’ve played music together ever since.
Though these guys have been living the band life since high school, they confess that they’ve only gotten really serious about four or five years ago. Now, they’re constantly touring and writing most of their songs in bathrooms along the way–giving it that real punk rock vibe. Currently, they’re working on a new album that’s supposed to be a real fun and weird time for the listeners.
Here we chat with Daves while they drive up to DC, almost getting hit by several wild drivers. So, take a listen to the exciting interview and hear tunes form Dirty Fences.
Make sure to check them out on all their social media pages to keep up-to-date on what craziness they’re up to next!
