Hey everybody, welcome to BTR’s Discovery Corner!
Last Saturday I stumbled upon an awesome rock show in the Lower East Side. The Britanys, a pretty-boy rock band with Lucas Long on vocals, Steele Kratt on drums, Gabe Schulman on bass, and Jake Williams on guitar. Their stage presence is electrifying and their sound is so hip it makes you want to cry.
The boys met in New York City about three years ago and now live together in a Bushwick apartment in Brooklyn, where they get to record new music whenever they want.

Currently, they are working on new material for an upcoming EP. These city boys dwell from some of the biggest cities across the U.S. With Long from San Francisco, Williams from Seattle and Boston, and Kratt and Schulman from none other than the Big Apple itself, NYC- It’s no wonder they have a song called “City Boys.”

Anyways, have a listen to them and check them out on Facebook and Instagram, or catch them at their next show February 12th in Brooklyn at Alphaville!
And don’t forget to check out the Discovery Artist feature on The Britanys!
