This week on the show I’m featuring another band from our brothers and sisters up north, Windigo from Calgary, AB. They are generally an indie rock band with dual male and female vocals but for their latest material, The Rhombus EP, they tried out more of a no-frills folk sound…with dual male and female vocals. I Skyped with three of the four members: Mitch, Jen, and Anthony. The only person missing was their new guitarist, Barry, with whom they spoke highly. We discussed the lack of female representation in the Calgary music scene, the “changes” the band has been going through, and what era of the band The Rhombus EP represents.
