This week in the Discovery Corner I’m featuring Los Angeles, CA-based dance pop singer Kendra Mckenzie! She’s a vivacious and cheery woman who most recently released the 7-track EP Addicted to the Dance Floor in April of 2013. I spoke with her on the phone as she was in the middle of her morning routine, having just finished a P90X workout. We discussed the real differences between NYC and LA, the presence of Janet Jackson in Kendra’s songs, and why she loves to watch people dance. Enjoy!
