This week, Jonah Levy joins us to discuss the creation of and expectations for the New York City Office of Nightlife, which will be headed up by a so-called “Night Mayor.” We’re also joined by Charles Hinshaw to discuss the recently released movie, The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected), directed by Noah Baumbach and starring Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Stiller, Elizabeth Marvel, and Grace Van Patten. Along the way, we’ll also hear from Radio Dispatch’s Molly Knefel with her thoughts on how the recent allegations about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein connect with other current stories in the news and why this particular story shouldn’t be allowed to just fade away; and we’ll take an exclusive early listen to a performance by Canadian indie-pop group Faith Healer, from an episode of BTR Live Studio set to be released next week.
Music composed by and show edited by Hansdale Hsu.
