The Tablets are the Brooklyn-based duo of Liz Godoy and Brenden Beu. Their story starts in Mexico, comes together in San Diego, and was fully realized once they got to NYC. Musically, they combine shoegaze guitars, farfisa, electronic beats, trippy visuals, and sweet vocals to create their moody pop music. It had been a while since we checked in with the band, so they dropped by Serious Business Music in DUMBO to share some new tunes in advance of a string of 2017 single releases.
The flexi-single “Not a Sign + Tyranny Glitches” is available now via Mon Amie Records
