Sam Burton is an indie folk musician originally from Utah, now living in LA, who has just released his debut record, produced by Jarvis Tavernier from the band Woods. I spoke with Sam while he was on the road back from Austin to LA, and we talked about the record, hanging out on a pecan orchard, and the effect that moving to LA has had on his songwriting and life in general.
