Nana Grizol is an indie folk band based in Athens, Georgia, fronted by Theo Hilton, and featuring a sort of who’s who of various Elephant 6-associated bands (Elf Power, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Music Tapes, etc). Their catchy, earnest songs ride the line between folk-punk and indie rock with often playful synths and horns, all tied together by bouncy rhythms underscoring Hilton’s heart-on-the-sleeve honesty. They joined us at Serious Business Music in DUMBO to share some music from their first full length release in 7 years.
