Mosquitos – in this case in acoustic duo form of Brazilian singer Juju Stulbach and singer/multi-instrumentalist Chris Root, first gained notoriety for their Bossa Nova/indie pop hit “Boombox” in the 00’s. After spending a decade in Rio de Janeiro and Oaxaca, Mexico, the NYC-based band is back with a fresh batch of music inspired by their experience. They stopped by Serious Business Music in DUMBO, Brooklyn to share their tunes with us.
