Fraidycat is the Brooklyn-based trio of Andy Kinsey, Daniel de Juan, and Charlotte Kahn. They call their music “slop pop” but let’s call it what it is because sloppy isn’t really all that accurate: this is fun, anxiously grooving pop music with punk nods. There’s a playfulness and honesty to it that just works really well. Check it out for yourself — the band stopped by Serious Business Music in DUMBO, Brooklyn, to show us what they’ve got (besides an excellent name).
Other Better Places by Fraidycat is available now on cassette.
