CHAPPO is a Brooklyn-based psych-rock band. With their new, John Vanderslice-produced record, the group covers tricky emotional and musical ground, all without losing their joyous stride. Lead singer Alex Chappo is a force to be reckoned with, and surely an apt setup for the mania of their tourmates’ The Flaming Lips’ frontman, Wayne Coyne this year.
