For this week’s Cooking show, Latola makes a batch of Pain au Chocolat (bread and chocolate)!
1/2 cup lukewarm milk
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. or 1 package, dry yeast
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups unbleached flour
About 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, divided into 8 equal portions
A ball of fresh bread dough, and in an hour…
…It groweth! Punch it down, and wait another hour.
Divide into 8 equal portions, and put a portion of chocolate in each.
Throw them in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees
