The way too early for the holidays show
Yeah, it’s still feels too early to be talking about the holidays, but that’s how Hanabi do. Anyway, I’m sure you have to plan an awesome holiday party so you’ll really want to pay attention here.
First, we talked about some really delicious tuna hors’ d oeuvres. Yeah so what if a Japanese inspired dish doesn’t exactly conjure up images of reindeer and candy canes, but so what. Sushi grade tuna is a key if you want it to wow your guests. You’ll simply need some tuna, sliced cucumbers, wasabi, pickled ginger and a little dab of soy sauce and you’re living large.
Mac n Cheese never fails. Although presentation can be an issue. Nobody likes to see a huge sloppy tray of congealed cheese goo sitting out on a well planned holiday spread. Ugh, I sound like Martha Stewart. So what, she’s right. So next time think about making a baked mac n cheese using a muffin pan and your favorite mac n cheese recipe. You’ll end up with individual little mac n cheese servings that look much fancier, if that’s even possible.
I also talked about my love of Iberico ham. Ugh! So good!
We also had the beats.
A little Bloc Party, because that sort of goes with the theme of a holiday party.
How about Gang Gang Dance? I made an awesome pun in the show that DJ Hanabi didn’t get or seem to think was as funny as I did. Oh well his problem because it was rad.
Finally we had Weatherbox. That’s because the weather around the holidays is very crucial.
